Please see attached diagram. I hope you can see it?

The hands can be at different angles. Sometimes the hand is directed  
straight front, pointing toward the front wall...and other times the  
hand is directed to the side...pointing to the side wall...

Your sign for HAMBURGER and ALLIGATOR have hands that are directed to  
the side wall, and the version of ALLIGATOR that I was writing, had  
hands that are directed to the front wall...

When the hand is directed to the side wall, it is a little different  
than when the hands are directed to the front wall...so that is why  
you see a difference...

First let me show you this diagram and then I will try to create  
another diagram too...can you see how the symbol looks when your hand  
is directed to the front wall and side walls?...
