Hi Ron,

The import was used for the conversion from SignPuddle 1.0 to SignPuddle 
1.5.  I do have plans to improve the import functionality, but other 
concerns have a higher priority.  As it stands, the import is not for 
general use.

The export is used with the SignBank application.  With the export you 
can export an entire puddle or only a selection.  The export includes 
the sign's spelling and sequence.*  SignBank can print large 
dictionaries with a nice layout.  Again, I have plans to improve the 
export functionality, but other concerns are a higher priority.

* when I say sequence, I'm referring to the SignSpelling Sequence used 
to sort dictionaries.
