Ha! Of course you are right, Ingvild. That is funny. I always saw it  
as a rainbow, or possibly a path to the future...no matter what, the  
Obama logo has stripes, and so the 4-Hand in one of those name signs  
that was mentioned, is used when signing "stripes" in ASL, at least I  
believe that is true...that is the way I read it anyway ;-)
